One morning, a well-mannered young wolf sets out on his first hunting trip alone. Before he can eat his prey, they ask for one final wish. As the wolf's parents taught him that a last wish must always be respected, he honors those of his prey only to be tricked. The ending shows readers that karma does not favor those who lie nor manipulate.
