And he knows his bed is waiting for him, “round like the moon.” But he just isn’t sleepy yet so he remembers all the good things about his day and then makes his nighttime rounds—going up the stairs, checking on the sleeping girl, walking down the hall—before finally curling up into his own bed to sleep.
