Although Alison dreams she has wings, she can't see them in the morning. Her brother reminds her that girls don't have wings; airplanes do, but never girls. Bauer's very easy chapter book is illustrated with Roth's black-and-white pencil drawings and has lots of white space between its short sentences and large size typeface.
